Szeretettel köszöntelek a MOODLE felületén megrendezett workshopon!
A taktilis technikák főként vizuális NILD technikák átdolgozásai, melyek elsősorban a figyelemzavaros gyermekekkel történő hatékonyabb feladatvégzés miatt lettek kifejlesztve. Két gyakorlati feladatotok is lesz, melyekkel egymást is támogatjátok.
Szeptember 27-én lesz egy ZOOM-os találkozónk, ahol felmerülő kérdéseiteket megbeszéljük.
Időkeretek:
Előadás (jegyzeteléssel, kvíz kitöltésével): 90 perc
Taktilis Mozaik (egyéni gyakorlással): 50 perc
Taktilis Pitagorasz / Tangram (egyéni gyakorlással, 1 új feladat megalkotásával): 40 perc
Taktilis Forma-analógia (egyéni gyakorlással, 1 új feladat megalkotásával): 30 perc

As teachers, we are always concerned about the details of what our students learn but they also need to know why those details are important. Biblical integration is a process of seeing the big picture of Truth and always asking how those details fit into the big picture. If all truth is God's Truth, then every subject area has specific ways to help us understand God and understand His creation. This allows us to bring the details of learning together into a unified whole with meaning and beauty.

Why should I use questions in teaching? Which types of questions are most effective? How do questions promote a biblical approach to learning? How do I engage my students in a quality process of asking good questions? This course provides a platform for questioning our motivation in using questions, investigating resources to improve our use of questions, connecting our use of questions to clear curricular objectives, and applying what we learn through new instructional strategies.

Assessment is a challenging area for many teachers, and has a significant impact on the learning experience for students. By considering assessment in the context of the whole teaching-learning process, this course explores ideas for designing quality assessments that provide relevant feedback and engage students in learning, including student self-assessment and peer-assessment strategies. Participants will engage in the course material through practical activities as well as interaction with other course participants through discussion forums.
As a result of participating in this course teachers will..
1) Understand assessment as a process of collecting a variety of evidence regarding student attainment of learning goals, and using that evidence to provide on-going, meaningful feedback to students.
2) Understand the role of formative assessment, including peer and self-assessment, in the teaching-learning assessment process.
3) Design and implement a wider variety of assessment strategies in their classroom.

Every student has God-given value and potential. What are the barriers to student development and how can we as teachers help them realize their value and potential? This class examines who our students are based on a biblical perspective and how this impacts the way they learn.
An understanding of each student is important to realize their unique skills, learning styles and potential for growth while shaping their character under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The responsibility of the Christian teacher is to have a clear understanding of what the Bible teaches about human nature and how that is manifested specifically in the life of our students. This process impacts the relationship with the student and the potential for learning together. Participants will be challenged to discover and reflect on the role they play in the life of their students through this course.

Both the Christian school and the secular school study the world around them, but they study it from significantly different perspectives and for significantly different purposes. This course explores those differences and helps us clearly articulate those differences in our thought processes and in our communication.

There is no such thing as “neutral” teaching. Our worldview determines the way we teach. During this course, we will study the teaching process and how the teacher applies a worldview through their character, their calling, their attitudes and their activities in the classroom. Each participant will:
- Describe who you are as a teacher and how that impacts your attitudes about teaching.
- Discuss the roles of the teacher and the purpose of teaching.
- Consider how a Christian worldview impacts the curriculum and what that means.
- Evaluate your approach to the teaching process and how you assess your students.

This course explores the unified and unfolding nature of the biblical narrative through its significant events, characters and themes. Participants will read selected portions of scripture, and consider how they fit together as a whole. This will be supported by readings from a succinct and carefully designed text as well as summary videos, and interaction with other participants in an asynchronous online learning environment. The course concludes with an opportunity for students to summarize and clarify their learning through designing a presentation that could be used to share the narrative with students of a selected age group.

Recent world events have shown us just how important community is, but also how fragile it can be. How can we lead in a way that strengthens the communities in which we live? Whether we are thinking about our local, national or global community, we want to be leaders who both work with others and take individual responsibility. At SLC we will be exploring the role of Biblical faith, hope and love in building authentic community, and the courage that will be needed for us to lead in this way with the theme "Leading for Community".
