Partnership Guidelines

1. Partnerships are designed to promote cross-cultural understanding and mutual sharing that results in growth for the school communities involved.
2. Partnership is voluntary. Schools enter into and leave partnerships by choice.
3. Partnership is collaborative and mutually beneficial. Schools enter into partnership expecting to both give and receive.
4. Before a partnership is entered into, schools define and mutually agree on its nature, purpose and length.
5. Partnerships are periodically reviewed by all those involved. Changes and adaptations are made by mutual agreement, taking the needs of all participating schools into account.
6. A partnership may involve the sharing of financial resources, but this is not the primary focus. External funding (such as Erasmus+) may be available for projects and may be pursued as part of a strategic partnership.
